Thursday we got our chickens. Fourty-five total. Sixteen are going to my brother in laws once they get big enough. The other 24 full sized chicks will all be big fat laying hens. Then we have 5 mini bantom hens too.

Then today, Levi came home from work with a special gift for the boys and I (though he took to me and I cant leave his site already). This is Peepers. The baby duck! There's one pic of him and his "buddy" we put in there so he wouldnt be so alone at night when we go to bed.
Boy are we gonna have fun and our hands full this summer, with collecting chicken eggs and a duck that thinks it's family! We dont yet know if Peepers is a Mr. Peepers or a Miss Peepers. We wont know that till it gets bigger...
Well, alright...Poor little Peepers. He is SO stuck on me and cant be alone, so we got him a buddy so at night he can not be alone, I spend my time taking turns holding them and they both travel in my coat...LOL So here's Quackers (the black duck).
